Attaf Represents President at Arab Summit

Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, will represent President Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the 33rd session of the Arab League Council at the summit level, taking place tomorrow in the Bahraini capital, Manama.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, “After completing his mission in the Sultanate of Oman as a special envoy of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, returned to Manama this evening to participate as the personal representative of the President in the 33rd session of the Arab League Council at the summit level.”

Upon his arrival at Manama Airport, Attaf was received with special honors by the Bahraini royal protocol, as stated in the release.

The Arab summit in Manama is expected to focus on key issues affecting Arab national security, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, as well as efforts to enhance and develop joint Arab action in its various political, economic, social, and cultural dimensions.

In this context, Attaf will deliver President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s speech at the summit, the statement added.
