Nawa Organic Olive Oil Wins Canadian Market Recognition

Nawa organic olive oil, cultivated in Algeria, has successfully penetrated the Canadian market, establishing itself as a high-end product. Its presence at the Orientalys festival in Montreal, held from August 13 to 16, garnered significant attention from numerous visitors, particularly for its extra virgin and virgin varieties. This introduction into a competitive market highlights the quality and international appeal of Algerian agricultural products.
Ahmed Diche, the Nawa distributor in Canada, noted that a promotional price of 10 Canadian dollars for a liter of virgin oil or 750 ml of extra virgin oil helped introduce the brand, positioning it as a luxury item to distinguish it from competitors. The company's strategy involves direct sales to consumers at cultural events and festivals. Nawa olive oil, sourced from the mountainous regions of Bouira and Bejaïa, is recognized for its quality, attributed to the unique properties of the lands where the olives are cultivated.
Further enhancing its reputation, Nawa organic olive oil has received multiple international awards from events in Egypt, Dubai, and the European Union. The director of the Nawa stand at the Orientalys festival emphasized that the product is 100% organic, natural, and free from chemicals. Beyond commercial success, the importation of Nawa olive oil into Canada is also viewed as a means to project a positive image of Algeria on the international stage.
