Ministry of Interior Intensifies School Readiness Efforts

National efforts are accelerating to ensure a successful start to the school year through enhanced readiness and increased capacity of educational institutions. These comprehensive preparations involve completing renovation and expansion projects, alongside providing essential transport and catering services, all designed to ensure students are received in a suitable environment that fosters quality academic achievement.

Under the direct and continuous supervision of Mr. Saeed Sayoud, Minister of Interior, Local Communities, and Transport, intensive preparations are ongoing across various wilayas for the 2026/2027 academic year. These efforts align with directives from the country's higher authorities, with field supervision being intensified to assess the readiness of educational facilities. Local authorities are also committed to implementing the President's instructions, ensuring that school transport and catering services are provided and fully operational from the very first week of the academic year.

Governors are actively conducting intensive inspection tours as part of these preparations. They have issued strict instructions to accelerate the pace of work and reinforce workshops to address any identified deficiencies. A key focus is strict adherence to quality standards and specified deadlines, guaranteeing that students are welcomed back to school under the best possible conditions.
