Energy Ministers Address Large Consumer Gas Demand

Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Murar Ajjal, and State Minister for Hydrocarbons, Mohamed Arkab, recently convened a coordination meeting at the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies headquarters. The session, attended by officials from both ministries, focused on discussing the strategic management of natural gas demand from major national consumers.
This discussion is considered a strategic and developmental initiative, crucial for enhancing the effectiveness of public energy policies and rationalizing consumption nationwide. The meeting provided a platform for exchanging views on improving energy efficiency indicators and ensuring the optimal utilization of national energy resources.
The coordinated effort aims to align energy resource management with the requirements of sustainable economic and social development. Furthermore, it seeks to strengthen national energy security in the medium and long term, reinforcing proactive planning for energy demand management.
