British-Inspired Curriculum Expands in Algiers with New Elite Kingdom School

Elite Kingdom School has expanded its presence in Algeria with the opening of a new branch in Chéraga, Algiers. This new establishment, which can accommodate over 600 students, offers an educational program inspired by the British system and the Cambridge curriculum. The Algiers school represents a significant increase in scale, occupying more than 5,000 square meters and being described as five times larger than the group's initial school in Oran, which opened in 2023. Over 45 teachers, including more than 12 British educators, are employed at the new facility.

The new school in Chéraga integrates classrooms, scientific laboratories, sports facilities, and spaces dedicated to educational activities. Its curriculum is designed to align with Cambridge curriculum requirements and British education standards, preparing students for qualifications such as IGCSE and A Levels, which can facilitate university studies. Elite Kingdom School states it is the first school in Algeria accredited by Cambridge Assessment Education for its entire "Pathway" curriculum, covering ages 4 to 18 and offering support for program application and staff training. The emphasis on English and critical thinking skills is a core component.

The inauguration of the Algiers branch was marked by a reception attended by UK Ambassador James Downer, TVET UK Director General Matthew Anderson, and Elite Kingdom School founder Habib Zahmani Nidal. Ambassador Downer highlighted education's important role in strengthening relations between Algeria and the United Kingdom, describing Algeria as a key friend and a solid base for British international cooperation. He extended gratitude to Algerian authorities, from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to all relevant officials, for their commitment to these bilateral ties. This expansion in Algeria reflects an evolving education market and growing family demand for international programs, with plans to progressively open more levels for students.
