National team coach, Djamel Belmadi, arrived in the homeland today, Friday, in preparation for the start of the national team’s training camp in October.
It is expected that Belmadi will hold his first meeting with the president of the Algerian Football Federation, Walid Sadli, either today or tomorrow at the latest. This meeting aims to discuss the key points included in the program of the top man at the Dali Ibrahim building.
It is worth noting that Walid Sadli strongly defended national team coach Djamel Belmadi in a previous statement to the national radio, calling on everyone to rally behind him and let him work in peace.
The comrades of captain Riyad Mahrez will face two friendly matches. The Greens will host the Cape Verde national team in Constantine, while they will face the Egyptian national team in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, on the 16th of this October.
