Algeria’s Education Ministry Opens 2026 Recruitment Competition for Several Positions

Algeria’s Ministry of National Education has announced the opening of a recruitment competition based on written examinations for several administrative, educational and technical positions within the national education sector.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, the recruitment operation is being organized for the year 2026 and aims to strengthen staffing levels across educational institutions and related services.
The competition includes access to specialized training leading to several professional grades. These include education supervisor, specialized educator in educational support, school and vocational guidance and counselling analyst, bursar and deputy bursar.
The ministry also announced direct recruitment competitions for the positions of senior laboratory assistant and school nutrition adviser.
The education supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily organization of school life, monitoring pupils and helping maintain discipline within educational institutions. Specialized educators in educational support provide assistance to pupils who may require additional educational or social guidance.
School and vocational guidance advisers play an important role in helping pupils understand their academic options and make informed choices concerning their future studies and careers.
Bursars and deputy bursars are responsible for financial, administrative and material management within educational institutions. Their duties may include managing budgets, supplies and school facilities in accordance with the regulations in force.
Senior laboratory assistants contribute to the preparation and organization of practical scientific activities, while school nutrition advisers help monitor meals and nutritional services provided in school canteens.
The announcement is part of the ministry’s efforts to meet staffing needs and improve administrative and educational services throughout the country. The recruitment process is also expected to provide qualified candidates with new employment opportunities in the public education sector.
