Minister Rezig Meets Oman Envoy on Economic Cooperation

Algeria's Minister of Commerce for Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Kamal Rezig, received the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Algeria, Saif bin Nasser bin Rashid Al Bada'i, at the Ministry headquarters today. The high-level meeting focused on discussing methods to strengthen commercial cooperation and enhance the economic partnership between the two fraternal nations.

During the discussions, both parties exchanged views on the prospects for developing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the realm of foreign trade. The talks centered on boosting trade exchanges and exploring avenues to broaden the scope of partnership between economic operators in Algeria and Oman. The Omani Ambassador was accompanied by Saad Suhail Bahwan, the General Manager of the Algerian-Omani Company, with senior Ministry officials also in attendance.

Minister Rezig and Ambassador Al Bada'i affirmed the importance of maintaining continuous consultation and coordination. They also emphasized the need to intensify meetings between various economic stakeholders from both countries. This commitment aims to elevate their cooperation and partnership relations to levels that reflect the deep-rooted fraternal and historical ties binding Algeria and the Sultanate of Oman. This exchange is part of Algeria's broader dynamic of economic openness.
