Energy Sector Gains Six New Digital Portal Services

The High Commission for Digitalization (HCN), in coordination with the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies, announced the integration of six new digital services into the national digital services portal. This development aligns with the high directives of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which emphasize expanding the range of digital services available through the national portal and strengthening interoperability across government sectors. The move is part of ongoing efforts by the HCN to accelerate Algeria's digital transition and ensure unified access to public services, making them simpler, faster, and more efficient for citizens.
Among the newly integrated services is E-SANED, a platform from the Electricity and Gas Regulation Commission (CREG) dedicated to processing requests for operating authorizations and declarations related to electricity production facilities. Citizens can also now utilize "Fatourati," a service that provides an indicative simulation of electricity and gas bills based on consumption data. Furthermore, Sonelgaz customers benefit from an electronic payment service, allowing them to settle their electricity and gas bills online swiftly and easily using a bank card or the EDAHABIA card.
The portal also features "e-Taqaty," a digital platform from Sonelgaz that enables customers to access their information, track various requests, and complete procedures remotely. Additionally, the "ILTIMESS" service offers a digital platform for citizens to submit appeals to CREG and monitor the status of their cases online. Completing the suite of new offerings is "E-Tarcheed," a service integrated into the national energy management program, designed to monitor and execute measures and projects focused on energy efficiency and the rationalization of energy consumption. These integrations aim to bring public services closer to the citizen.
