ONAB Confirms Continued Frozen Chicken Sales at 350 DA/kg

The National Office of Fodder (ONAB) has confirmed the ongoing availability of substantial quantities of frozen chicken for sale across the national market. Priced at 350 Algerian Dinars per kilogram, this initiative is distributed through ONAB's 143 sales points located throughout the country. This continued operation aims to contribute to price regulation and ensure the provision of the product at a carefully determined price.

Mohamed Said Lalik, the Director General of ONAB, stated that this effort is part of a broader contribution to stabilizing market prices and making products accessible. The supply and distribution of these quantities are managed gradually on a daily basis, covering all sales points belonging to the complex across various wilayas, including the East, Center, and West complexes, as well as the Agricultural Products Regulation Company (SARPA). This process has been noted to receive significant approval from citizens due to the product's availability across the extensive network of sales points.

ONAB additionally highlighted that the chicken supplied by the complex adheres to applicable health standards. The complex's veterinary services are responsible for conducting daily monitoring of the product, thereby guaranteeing its conformity with all required health conditions. This consistent supply at a stable price underscores efforts to ensure food security and public access to essential food items.
