100-Seat Bus Batch Arrives in Batna for Public Transport

Local authorities in Batna recently took delivery of the first batch of 35 new urban and semi-urban transport buses. Each bus has a capacity of up to 100 seats and is intended for the Batna Urban and Semi-Urban Transport Enterprise (ETUB). This initiative aims to reinforce the province's transport fleet, improve the quality of public services, and better meet the growing demand for urban and semi-urban transportation.

The delivery is part of a broader national program mandated by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, which targets the renewal of the national transport fleet with 10,000 new buses. The implementation of this program is overseen by the Minister of Interior, Local Communities, and Transport, Saïd Sayoud. The overarching goal is to modernize public transport assets across various provinces, ensuring enhanced readiness and an elevated standard of service for citizens.

This initial allocation represents a significant addition to Batna's public transport infrastructure, supporting efforts to provide more efficient and responsive transportation options.
