Naceri Represents Tebboune at African Union Conflict Forum

Azzouz Naceri, President of the Council of the Nation, is set to represent President Abdelmadjid Tebboune at the twenty-first extraordinary session of the African Union Assembly. This significant gathering will address critical issues concerning the prevention and resolution of conflicts across the African continent.

The session is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in Luanda, the capital city of Angola. Algeria's active participation underscores its consistent engagement in fostering peace and stability within Africa.

President Tebboune's representation by the President of the Council of the Nation highlights Algeria's commitment to multilateral efforts aimed at addressing regional challenges and contributing to a more secure and prosperous continent.
