Oil prices rose in early Asian trading on Friday, heading for gains for the third consecutive week despite concerns about global supply disruptions.
Brent crude futures for August delivery, expiring today, increased by 15 cents, or 0.2%, to $86.54 per barrel.
The Brent contract for September rose 0.2% to $85.44 per barrel.
U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures for August delivery climbed 24 cents, or 0.3%, to $81.98 per barrel.
