Algerian National Team Prepares for AFCON

In anticipation of the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast 2023, the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has disclosed the location for the national team’s preparatory training camp.

The FAF’s statement today clarified that Lome, the capital of Togo, has been selected as the venue for the preparatory training camp. The camp is scheduled to run from January 1 to January 10, with the team’s mission to Ivory Coast’s city of Bouaké planned for January 10, three days before the official start of the AFCON finals.

It’s noteworthy that the Algerian national team, known as “The Greens,” kicks off their AFCON 2023 campaign against Angola on January 15 at the “Al-Salam” Stadium, starting at 8:00 PM.
