Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Youssef Sharfa, received today, Monday, the Minister of Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Ammam Beibata Hamah Allah, who is visiting Algeria as part of Mauritania’s participation in the 22nd edition of the International Exhibition of Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Industries.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture, the two sides reviewed the distinguished cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields and discussed prospects for strengthening them, particularly in agriculture and industry through the exchange of experiences and expertise.
The ministers also discussed development strategies followed by Algeria and Mauritania to enhance their food security and create wealth, highlighting the existing capacities in both countries and the opportunities for cooperation and partnership to achieve set goals.
