Minister Adjal Directs Accelerated Energy Partnerships with Niger, Côte d’Ivoire

Algeria is actively reinforcing its energy partnerships with Niger and Côte d'Ivoire, a key component of its broader strategy for African economic and energy integration. The Algerian Minister of Energy, Murad Adjal, recently chaired a crucial meeting at the ministry's headquarters to advance these efforts. The session focused on reviewing ongoing projects, assessing their progress, and identifying any potential obstacles to ensure the timely implementation of commitments.

During the meeting, which included central ministry officials and representatives from the Sonelgaz group, Minister Adjal issued clear directives to expedite the processing of all files currently under study. He emphasized the critical need to enhance coordination among various relevant structures to ensure rigorous and precise follow-up. The objective is to transform all agreed-upon commitments into tangible, practical steps and concrete projects that serve the mutual interests of the partnering nations.

This proactive stance reflects Algeria's strong desire to solidify its presence within the African energy cooperation framework. By expanding partnerships and fostering a dynamic exchange of expertise and capabilities in both traditional and renewable energy sectors, Algeria aims to promote more sustainable and robust cooperation across the continent, further supporting regional development and stability.
