Sonatrach, Eni Expand Decarbonization Efforts in Algeria

Algeria's national energy company Sonatrach and Italian energy major Eni have formalized an expanded cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing decarbonization initiatives and reducing emissions within Algeria. This new understanding builds upon existing efforts between the two entities, deepening their commitment to environmental sustainability.
The recently signed Memorandum of Intent specifically broadens their collaborative scope to include CO₂ sequestration through forestry projects.
