Algeria’s Health Ministry Launches National Census to Integrate Para-Medical Graduates into Public Sector

Algeria’s Ministry of Health has moved to clarify circulating social media claims suggesting that graduates of private para-medical training schools cannot be employed within public health institutions.

In an exclusive statement to dzwatch, the Ministry firmly denied that such information reflects its official position, stressing: “This in no way reflects the Ministry’s commitment to finding practical solutions for this category, whether within public or private health institutions.”

The Ministry confirmed it has launched a national census operation targeting graduates of private para-medical schools through a dedicated digital platform, aimed at building a precise and comprehensive database to assess the current situation and study mechanisms that guarantee their gradual integration and employment — in line with actual needs and available positions across both public and private sectors.

The Ministry further emphasized that it has taken a series of concrete measures to open integration prospects and ensure the progressive employment of these graduates.
