Chadian Baccalaureate Holders Secure 450 Algerian University Places

The Republic of Algeria is offering 450 university scholarships to Chadian baccalaureate holders for the 2026-2027 academic year. This initiative, announced by the National Center for University Works (CNOU), provides an opportunity for young Chadian graduates from scientific series C, D, and E of the June 2026 session to pursue higher education in Algerian public universities. The offer underscores Algeria's commitment to educational cooperation and regional development.
To be eligible for these scholarships, candidates must meet specific academic criteria. Applicants are required to have achieved a general baccalaureate average equal to or greater than 12/20. Additionally, a minimum average of 10/20 is necessary in core scientific subjects, including mathematics, physics-chemistry, and biology. A further condition dictates that candidates must be between 18 and 23 years of age at the time of application.
Prospective students who fulfill these requirements are invited to prepare and submit their application dossiers. The deadline for submitting applications is set for Friday, September 4, 2026, at 12:00, at the CNOU, located on Avenue Sahoulba Gontchomé in Klémat. Required documents include a scholarship application, a copy of the baccalaureate diploma, the baccalaureate transcript, a certificate of nationality or birth extract, a criminal record extract, a medical certificate, a photocopy of the passport, and a recent identity photograph, facilitating a clear path for Chadian graduates to advance their studies in Algeria.
