Foreign Trade Minister Rezig Inspects Digital Platforms

Kamel Rezig, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, conducted an inspection visit to the digital platforms within his sector on Saturday. This visit was part of his direct oversight of the functionality across various digital systems, focusing on the processing and examination pace of provisional import programs and the progress of their endorsement.

During the visit, Minister Rezig closely reviewed the digital platform dedicated to handling economic operators' concerns. He assessed the rate at which various registered concerns were received, the level of care provided, and the mechanisms in place for their follow-up. On this occasion, the Minister issued directives stressing the necessity of ensuring swift and effective processing of economic operators' concerns, coupled with continuous monitoring. He further underscored the importance of strengthening coordination among the relevant services and bodies.

Minister Rezig affirmed that these measures are intended to improve the support provided to economic operators and ensure optimal handling of their concerns. He also highlighted the critical role of effectively utilizing data and indicators from these digital platforms, recognizing them as essential tools for precise, real-time tracking of various operations, continuous monitoring of file statuses, and ultimately accelerating decision-making.
