Minister Belmehdi Initiates National Quran Prize Qualifiers

Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Youcef Belmehdi, has officially inaugurated the national qualification rounds for the 28th National Holy Quran Prize. This significant event marks a key step in the annual competition, which aims to recognize and encourage excellence in Quranic recitation and memorization across the nation.
The ongoing selection phases will see participants from all 58 wilayas of Algeria engaging in the competition. This wide national involvement underscores the country's commitment to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of Islamic teachings, while actively working to preserve national identity and values inherent in its cultural and religious heritage.
Following these extensive national qualifiers, the finals of the 28th National Holy Quran Prize are scheduled to take place in Béjaïa in September. The competition serves as a vital platform for promoting religious education and cultural cohesion, further solidifying Algeria's dedication to its spiritual and national foundations.
