Saudia to Offer 15 Weekly Flights Between Jeddah and Algiers

Saudia airline is set to reinforce its service between Jeddah and Algiers, with plans to operate up to 15 weekly flights from October 25, 2026. This expansion, reported by the specialized site AeroRoutes, updates Saudia's international program for the upcoming winter season of 2026-2027. Currently, 13 of the projected 15 weekly flights are available for booking, and the route is expected to utilize Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
The increased flight schedule offers greater opportunities for travelers departing from Algiers who wish to visit Saudi Arabia. These additional connections are anticipated to facilitate travel for various purposes, including religious pilgrimages such as Omra and Hajj, family visits, business engagements, and general tourism. This development significantly enhances air connectivity and travel flexibility for Algerian citizens.
This reinforcement on the Algiers-Jeddah line follows Saudia's recent expansion in the Algerian market. On July 14, 2026, the airline inaugurated its first direct flight between Oran's Ahmed Ben Bella International Airport and Saudi Arabia. Concurrently, a new Saudia ticket sales agency was opened at the Oran airport. These initiatives underscore Saudia's growth in the Algerian market, providing more direct connection possibilities between Algeria and Saudi Arabia.
