Air Algérie has implemented significant price reductions for flights on its Montreal-Algiers route following the conclusion of the summer season. These adjustments aim to make travel more accessible and affordable for passengers looking to journey to Algeria outside of the peak holiday period, offering a positive development for those planning their trips.

The price changes reflect a notable decrease compared to the high summer fares. For instance, a round-trip ticket from Montreal to Algiers is now available from 1,415.11 Canadian Dollars (CAD) in Economy Promo class for travel between September 1st and 28th. Further reductions are observed for later autumn departures, with fares for a round trip dropping to 1,040.11 CAD for stays between October 16th and November 13th. This marks a considerable difference from July and August, when prices for the same route reached up to 3,353.01 CAD.

The fluctuating ticket prices are largely influenced by seasonal demand. During July and August, a significant surge in demand from the Algerian diaspora in Canada, keen to spend the summer months in their home country, typically drives fares higher. The current price reductions reflect the end of this peak travel rush, providing a strategic opportunity for travelers with flexible schedules to secure more economical fares by choosing to depart in late September or October.
