Prime Minister Honors Quran Champions at Mawlid Celebration

The Prime Minister, representing the President of the Republic, oversaw the celebration of Mawlid Ennabaoui at the Grand Mosque of Algeria in Mohammadia. The ceremony, which included the Dean of the Grand Mosque of Algeria, Mohamed Maamoun Al Qasimi Al Hasani, honored national and international champions of Quran memorization competitions.
During the event, young men and women who excelled in memorizing the Holy Quran were recognized for their achievements. In the national Mawlid Ennabaoui competition for Quran memorization and tajweed, Muadh Abdul Rahman Abboud secured the first place, while Yusuf Talbi achieved second, and Ayoub Sunni placed third.
Algerian readers were also celebrated for their successes in various international Quranic contests. Muhammad Salah El-Din Rammal from Boumerdes won first place in the King Salman competition for Quran and Sunnah for African countries, held in Dakar, Senegal. Jumana Sharabatia from Setif and Safa Iman Ben Yahya from Boumerdes both earned first places in the women's category of the 46th King Abdul Aziz International Competition for Quran Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation, scheduled for 1448 AH / 2026 AD in Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Zakaria Fattal from Chlef achieved second place in the same King Abdul Aziz International Competition.
