Saad Arous Pledges Election Integrity, Voter Will Protection

Saad Arous, President of the National Independent Electoral Authority (ANIE), affirmed on Wednesday the institution's commitment to operating with complete independence and responsibility. This pivotal declaration, made following his reception by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, underscores ANIE's dedication to upholding the highest standards of electoral governance in Algeria.
Mr. Arous emphasized that ANIE's work will significantly enhance the integrity and transparency of elections while rigorously safeguarding the will of every voter. He expressed deep appreciation for the trust placed in him by the President, pledging to work alongside ANIE members and cadres with steadfast independence and responsibility, thereby embodying the Authority's constitutional duties.
The meeting with President Tebboune was described by Mr. Arous as "important and responsible."
