Interior Minister Sayoud Assures Jijel Fire Victims of State Support

Interior Minister Saïd Sayoud traveled to Bordj Tahar municipality in Jijel on Thursday to observe the general situation following recent fires in the region. During his visit, the Minister received comprehensive briefings on the intervention operations and the efforts underway to care for those affected by the blazes.
Minister Sayoud conveyed his deep sadness regarding the human casualties resulting from the fires, extending his sincere condolences to the victims' families and wishing a swift recovery to the injured. He affirmed that the Algerian state, acting under the direct guidance of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, stands firmly with the affected citizens, pledging continued care, support, and the implementation of all necessary measures to assist them through this difficult period.
The Minister also commended the spirit of solidarity and cohesion demonstrated by the local residents, highlighting their contributions to the firefighting efforts. He praised the extensive mobilization of various state institutions, local authorities, security services, civil protection units, and medical teams, alongside all other responders involved in rescue, intervention, and victim care operations. During his visit, Minister Sayoud met with several citizens from Bordj Tahar, listening to their concerns and assuring them of the state's unwavering commitment to support them until the impacts of the disaster are fully overcome.
