Prime Minister Ghrib Attends Jijel Wildfire Funerals
Algerian Prime Minister Sief Ghrib, accompanied by several members of the government, participated in the funerals of wildfire victims in Jijel on Friday, August 28, 2026. This participation, made on the instruction of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, underscored the state's direct engagement and support in the wake of the tragedy that struck the wilaya.
The funeral ceremonies, held at the Dar El Baqa cemetery in the Jumaa Beni Habibi area, took place in an atmosphere of profound mourning and national solidarity.
