Wildfire Victims to Receive Full State Care, President Orders

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has issued directives mandating comprehensive support and full care for all individuals injured or affected by the recent wildfires. The President's instructions also emphasize the swift fulfillment of all citizen demands and concerns that have been recorded. Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb conveyed these directives in a press statement following his visit to Jijel province, highlighting the state's unwavering commitment to its citizens.

During his visit, Prime Minister Ghrieb, on behalf of the President, the government, and the Algerian people, extended sincere condolences to the families of victims across the wilayas most impacted by the fires, including Jijel, Skikda, Tizi Ouzou, and Bejaia, as well as other affected regions. The Prime Minister reaffirmed the state's determination to accompany these families, address their concerns, and implement all necessary measures to mitigate the disaster's effects.

Prime Minister Ghrieb met with families of wildfire victims at the cultural center in Djemaa Beni Habibi municipality in Jijel, where he listened directly to their concerns and needs. He assured them that public authorities would accord full attention and care to their situations, committing to address their requirements promptly. The Prime Minister, accompanied by several government members, also participated in the funerals of victims in Jijel, underscoring the government's solidarity during this period of profound sorrow.
