General Said Chanegriha, Algeria’s Deputy Minister of National Defence and Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, declared Tuesday that Algeria remains resilient and unyielding against the destructive effects of acute global geopolitical instability, citing three fundamental pillars of national strength.
Speaking exclusively during an operational inspection visit to the Third Military Region, Chanegriha told dzwatch that the world is experiencing unprecedented geopolitical turmoil generating alarming economic consequences, including disrupted global supply chains, inflation, and recession.
He identified Algeria’s three pillars of resilience as: economic solidity reinforced by major infrastructure projects including the Béchar-Ghar Djbilet railway; societal cohesion and internal unity driven by growing national awareness; and the permanent high readiness of Algeria’s armed forces, which he described as the cornerstone of strategic steadfastness.
“This trajectory of achievements, built under President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s visionary leadership, represents a strategic investment in comprehensive resilience — Algeria’s surest guarantee of active presence in a transforming world,” Chanegriha stated.
