Algeria’s Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Expatriate Community, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held a high-level phone call on Friday with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, dzwatch has learned exclusively.
The two top diplomats discussed fraternal relations between Algeria and Egypt, exploring concrete ways to strengthen and develop bilateral cooperation in line with directives from both countries’ leaderships, ahead of upcoming bilateral consultations.
The ministers also exchanged views and assessments on evolving developments in their shared regional neighborhood, as well as the latest situation in the Middle East and Gulf region.
The call reaffirmed Algeria and Egypt’s shared commitment to maintaining ongoing consultation and coordination on all matters of mutual concern, underscoring the depth of their strategic partnership.
