Algeria has officially published a comprehensive Traffic Law in the latest issue of the Official Gazette, establishing a sweeping legal framework aimed at regulating road traffic, enhancing public safety, and reducing accidents nationwide.
The newly enacted law sets out detailed rules governing traffic flow across Algeria’s road network, conditions for the use of public thoroughfares, and preventive measures designed to ensure road security. It also defines the institutional framework for traffic safety management and introduces strict deterrent measures against violations of road traffic regulations.
