Algerian Minister of State and Foreign Affairs Ahmed Attaf was received this morning in Cairo by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, in a high-level diplomatic meeting that underscores the deepening ties between the two nations.
During the meeting, Attaf delivered a handwritten letter from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to his Egyptian counterpart, conveying fraternal greetings and reaffirming Algeria’s commitment to elevating bilateral cooperation to new horizons.
The two sides reviewed the positive momentum characterizing Algerian-Egyptian relations, particularly in implementing outcomes of the 9th Session of the Joint High Committee held in Cairo last November, highlighting remarkable progress in consolidating the economic partnership.
Discussions also covered coordination on key Arab and African issues, especially regarding Libya, in light of ongoing meetings of the Algerian-Egyptian-Tunisian trilateral mechanism.
