Oman Airports, Air Algérie Ink Direct Algiers-Muscat Flight Deal
Air Algérie Group and Oman Airports-Transom officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Thursday in Algiers, establishing a framework for enhanced cooperation in air services. This agreement marks a significant step towards the anticipated launch of a direct Algiers-Muscat air route, projected for 2027. The signing ceremony was co-chaired by Air Algérie Group CEO Hamza Benhamouda and Oman Airports-Transom Executive Director General Nasser ben Ahmed Al-Shurji, signaling a deepened rapprochement between Algeria and the Sultanate of Oman.
The memorandum outlines a comprehensive approach to collaboration, extending beyond the direct flight connection.
