Annaba Phosphatic Port Expansion Progress Reviewed by Minister

Public Works and Infrastructure Minister Abdelkader Djellaoui commenced a three-day visit to Annaba this Saturday morning to oversee the ongoing expansion of the phosphatic port. His inspection specifically targets the construction of a mineral quay, which is an integral component of the comprehensive integrated phosphates project.
During his visit, Minister Djellaoui is also conducting field tours across various stations and worksites associated with the East mining line project. This strategic 422-kilometer line connects the port of Annaba to Bled El Hadba in the Tébessa wilaya, traversing Annaba, El Tarf, Guelma, Souk Ahras, and Tébessa. The focus of these inspections includes assessing work progress, realization conditions, and the mobilization of human and material resources.
Scheduled nocturnal visits to several stations, worksites, and sections are planned to evaluate the pace of nighttime operations. These comprehensive assessments are designed to verify the continuous availability of necessary resources, ensuring the smooth execution of work and adherence to established deadlines for this crucial infrastructure development.
