Youth Ministry Offers 150 Animator Positions for Southern Regions

Algeria's Ministry of Youth is set to hold written tests for a recruitment competition to select 150 principal youth animators. These specialized positions are designated for the country's border regions and the Great South. This initiative, part of the 2026 recruitment drive, follows instructions issued by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune during a Council of Ministers meeting on June 23, 2024.
The competition is designed to bolster specialized supervision within youth institutions across these strategic areas. To facilitate participation and minimize travel burdens for applicants, the Ministry has established eight decentralized examination centers. These centers are located in Bordj Badji Mokhtar, Illizi, In Guezzam, Béni Abbès, Béchar, Tindouf, El Oued, and Tlemcen.
Following the written examinations, successful candidates will proceed to oral tests scheduled from September 6 to 8, 2026. These final assessments will take place at the National Institutes of Higher Education for Youth and Sports cadres in Ouargla and Constantine. To ensure smooth execution and field support, members of the Supreme Youth Council and local authorities are involved in the organization of the tests.
