Eastern Mining Railway Annaba-Bouchagouf Section Works Conclude by September

Abdelkader Djellaoui, the Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, announced that the works on the Annaba-Bouchagouf section of Algeria's eastern mining railway line are scheduled for completion before the end of September. The announcement was made in Guelma, providing a specific timeline for a key national infrastructure project.
This particular section, connecting Annaba and Bouchagouf within the Guelma province, forms a crucial part of the broader Annaba-Tebessa eastern mining railway line. The comprehensive project aims to duplicate, correct, and modernize the existing railway infrastructure, enhancing its capacity and operational efficiency.
The modernization initiative underscores Algeria's commitment to developing its foundational infrastructure, particularly in support of the mining sector. The timely completion of this railway segment is expected to contribute to improved logistics and transportation capabilities, benefiting economic activities in the eastern regions.
