Adjal Directs Full School Utility Readiness by August 31st

Mourad Adjal, the Algerian Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, has issued directives for the accelerated connection of educational institutions to electricity and gas networks. This measure is aimed at ensuring the full readiness of schools, universities, and vocational training institutes in anticipation of the forthcoming social and academic year.

The instruction followed a meeting of the sectoral coordination committee, which Minister Adjal chaired. During the session, ministry officials and key representatives from the Sonelgaz group reviewed the progress of connection projects. A detailed presentation on the advancement of these initiatives was provided to the Minister.

As a result of the coordination meeting, Minister Adjal mandated the completion of all connection projects by August 31st. This specific deadline underscores the government's commitment to ensuring that essential energy infrastructure is fully functional and ready to support the smooth commencement of the new academic and university year across the country.
