The services of the Wilaya of Algiers are continuing their proactive program in anticipation of the upcoming rainy season. This initiative, carried out under the directives of Minister and Wali of Algiers, Mohamed Abdelnour Rabehi, aims to ensure the readiness of various rainwater drainage networks and associated infrastructure. As part of these preparations, operations to clean valleys and clear drains have been intensified across all administrative districts. Additionally, underground tunnels and rainwater channels are being unblocked. These efforts involve the participation and coordination of various concerned services, supported by significant material and human resources mobilized for the task.
The cleaning of drains and rainwater discharge channels is conducted periodically and repeatedly.
