Investment Project Holders to Update Status by September

The Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion (AAPI) has called upon all registered investment project holders to submit or update their project advancement status for the first half of 2026. This directive, issued on August 17, sets a deadline of September 30, 2026, for the completion of this essential procedure.

This initiative is part of AAPI's periodic monitoring of registered projects, in accordance with Investment Law No. 22-18 and its accompanying regulations. The agency aims to establish an updated and reliable overview of investment projects, enabling it to identify any difficulties encountered by investors and enhance project follow-up and support. The requirement applies to all project holders registered with AAPI up to June 30, 2026, who must complete a dedicated form for the first half of 2026.

Project holders are instructed to deposit the required documents and information at the single window where their investment project was initially registered. The necessary form is available on AAPI's official website. Furthermore, those who have not yet submitted their project advancement status for the year 2025 are also required to regularize their situation. AAPI emphasizes that submitting the project advancement status is a regulatory obligation, and non-compliance by the specified deadline may lead to regulatory measures, including the potential cancellation of the investment project registration certificate and the withdrawal of granted benefits.
