New International Routes Support Algiers Hub Role

Air Algérie has announced the opening of reservations for four new international flights, marking a significant expansion of its global network. These new routes are intended to strengthen Houari Boumediene Airport's position as a strategic air hub connecting Europe and Africa. The new services are scheduled to commence gradually throughout September and October 2026.
The first of these new connections will be to Berlin, Germany, with flights beginning on September 14, 2026. This route will operate once a week, utilizing Boeing 737-800 or MAX aircraft. Flights from Algiers are scheduled to depart at 2:00 PM, arriving in Berlin at 6:00 PM, with the return flight departing Berlin at 7:00 PM and arriving back in Algiers at 9:00 PM.
On the African continent, Air Algérie will launch three new routes in late October 2026. Services to Conakry, Guinea, will begin on October 25, 2026, operating three times a week. The following day, October 26, will see the launch of flights to Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, also with three weekly services. Additionally, a combined route will connect Algiers with Lagos and Abuja in Nigeria, offering three weekly flights. All these African services will be managed with new-generation Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft.
The airline has confirmed that tickets for these new destinations are available through its website, mobile application, and authorized agencies. This strategic expansion is designed to meet the increasing demand from the Algerian community abroad and to facilitate economic exchanges with various African nations, further solidifying Algeria's regional and international connectivity.
