Amin Chiakh Joins Rosenborg in Record €5 Million Deal

Norwegian club Rosenborg has finalized the permanent acquisition of Algerian international Amin Chiakh from Danish club Copenhagen, securing the 20-year-old forward until the end of 2030. The transfer, valued at €5 million, has been recognized by Danish newspaper Tipsbladet as the most expensive in the history of Norwegian football, setting a new financial benchmark for the league.
Chiakh initially joined Rosenborg on loan in January 2026, with the agreement set to conclude at the end of the year. His notable performance during this period, which saw him score 10 goals in 18 official matches for the Norwegian side, convinced the club's management to exercise their purchase option. This strong showing marked a recovery in form for the player following a challenging period with his previous club.
Expressing his satisfaction with the move, Amin Chiakh stated on Rosenborg's official website that he is pleased to continue his journey with the club. He affirmed his belief that Rosenborg is the ideal environment for his professional growth and that he is continuously improving his game.
