Algerian security forces have successfully dismantled two significant drug trafficking networks, seizing approximately 97 kilograms of processed hashish (kif traité). The operations, conducted by the Central Service for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking (SCLTIS) and its regional branches in Tlemcen, also resulted in the arrest of six individuals.

In the first operation, authorities intercepted a truck and discovered over 17 kilograms of hashish expertly hidden beneath the rear seats. Three suspects were apprehended in connection with this seizure.
Further details on the second operation and the total quantity of drugs seized were not immediately available but contributed to the overall 97kg total. The Directorate General of National Security (DGSN) announced these successes on Friday, highlighting their commitment to combating organized crime and illicit drug trade within the country.
