Two Million Housing Units Planned for Distribution by 2029

Algeria's Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning and the City has established an ambitious national objective to distribute two million housing units across the country between 2025 and 2029. This target is set within the ongoing national housing program, designed to address the increasing demand for various types of residential properties.
The upcoming phase of this initiative emphasizes accelerating project completion, particularly for those already in advanced stages. This includes the continued implementation of the "AADL 3" program, which adopts an urban planning approach focused on creating integrated urban centers. These centers are designed to encompass both residential units and essential facilities and infrastructure.
This five-year goal reflects the continued priority given to the housing sector within state programs. The strategy aims to enhance the pace of construction and achieve a balanced urban distribution that aligns with citizens' expectations, ultimately working to improve living conditions and foster more suitable urban environments.
