First AADL 3 Housing Units to Be Delivered November 1st

Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, announced Monday in Algiers the commencement of distributing the first units of the AADL 3 lease-sale housing program. This significant initiative is scheduled to begin on November 1st in several provinces, coinciding with the 72nd anniversary of the outbreak of the War of Liberation. The minister affirmed that the housing sector continues with unwavering resolve to implement its development programs, prioritizing this national housing distribution operation.
The distribution of these initial AADL 3 units will take place in provinces where projects have reached advanced stages of completion, demonstrating the state's commitment to its pledges and its response to citizens' aspirations for decent housing. This program aligns with broader government efforts to provide suitable living conditions for Algerians, reinforcing social welfare and stability across the nation.
Furthermore, the ministry has embarked on a new urban vision to strategically locate the AADL 3 program across various provinces. This approach centers on establishing urban poles as a modern urban model, aiming for balanced urban distribution and alleviating pressure on major cities. The initiative includes the creation of integrated neighborhoods designed to meet contemporary lifestyle demands, equipped with essential facilities and infrastructure. Initial implementation has seen the launch of 47 urban poles across 38 provinces, spanning over 30,000 hectares, with the development of 16 urban poles already initiated across 7,875 hectares to accommodate 493,559 housing units. Within these 16 poles, over 121,000 housing units of various types are planned, including more than 109,000 AADL 3 units in their first phase, alongside 859 public and structural facilities.
