AADL 3 Housing Distribution Set for November 1

Minister of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, has called for a redoubling of efforts to realize President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's commitment to distribute two million housing units between 2025 and 2029. During a meeting to evaluate the housing sector's programs, the Minister emphasized that the trust and interest accorded to the sector by the President serve as motivation to continue work with determination and responsibility, accelerating projects and enhancing quality. He stressed that achieving numerical targets must be coupled with quality, adherence to deadlines, and continuous coordination among central administration, local directorates, and all field stakeholders.

As part of these ongoing development programs, the first housing units under the AADL 3 program are slated for delivery starting November 1. This significant distribution will coincide with the 72nd anniversary of the glorious Liberation Revolution, with initial units being handed over in several wilayas where projects have reached advanced stages of completion. This initiative reflects the state's dedication to its commitments and its response to citizens' aspirations for decent housing.

The Ministry has also embarked on a new urban vision to integrate the AADL 3 program across various wilayas, focusing on establishing urban poles. This strategic approach aims to create a modern urban model based on balanced urban distribution, alleviating pressure on major cities, and providing integrated neighborhoods equipped with essential modern facilities. To date, implementation has begun for 47 urban poles across 38 wilayas, covering an area exceeding 30,000 hectares. An initial phase involves developing 16 urban poles with a capacity for 493,559 housing units, including over 109,000 AADL 3 units in their first phase, alongside 859 public facilities to ensure integrated and complete future communities.
