Ghimouz Names 25 U17 Players for World Cup Camp

Coach Amine Ghimouz officially unveiled the selection of 25 players for the Algerian U17 national team's training camp. This assembly is a crucial part of the team's preparation for the 2026 U17 World Cup, which is scheduled to commence on November 19 in Qatar. The training camp is set to take place from August 20 to 28 at the National Technical Center in Sidi Moussa.
The squad comprises three goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders, and seven forwards, all chosen to represent the nation on the international stage. During the initial phase of the 2026 World Cup, Algeria has been drawn into Group J, where they will compete against teams from Chile, Montenegro, and the United States. This selection underscores the commitment to developing young talent within Algerian football.
