Tarente Hosts Ghrieb’s Meeting with Algerian Sports Delegation

Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb held a meeting with the Algerian national delegation participating in the 20th Mediterranean Games in Tarente, Italy, on Friday evening. Representing President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Prime Minister Ghrieb conveyed the President's greetings and best wishes for success to the athletes, marking a significant show of high-level government support for the nation's competitors.
During the encounter, which took place in the Italian city of Tarente, the Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister of Sports Walid Sadi, Algeria's Ambassador to Italy Mohamed Khelifi, and President of the Algerian Olympic Sports Committee Abderrahmane Hammad. Mr. Ghrieb reviewed the athletes' accommodation conditions and preparations, taking the opportunity to offer motivational words and encourage them to perform their best, achieve honorable results, and proudly represent the national colors on the international stage.
Algeria's participation in this 20th edition of the Mediterranean Games features a delegation of 248 athletes competing across 27 sporting disciplines. The Prime Minister's presence at this major multi-sport event underscores the government's steadfast commitment to fostering sporting excellence and ensuring Algeria's active and distinguished involvement in regional and international competitions.
