Citizens Receive Fire Compensation Decisions Across Wilayas

The Algerian government is actively continuing the process of delivering compensation benefit decisions to citizens impacted by fires that occurred in several wilayas during July. This initiative, which commenced last Tuesday, spans across numerous affected states, demonstrating a sustained commitment to supporting those who suffered losses. The comprehensive operation aims to address the aftermath of both forest fires and agricultural crop damage, ensuring broad coverage for citizens in need.

The distribution of these compensation grants is based on meticulous field inspections and a thorough assessment of recorded damages and losses. This systematic approach ensures that assistance is provided precisely where it is most needed, reflecting a commitment to fairness and accuracy. The entire compensation process is being implemented in direct fulfillment of directives issued by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who mandated the completion of compensation for fire victims by August 31, 2026.

Further underscoring the government's proactive response, the operation also follows specific instructions from the Minister of Interior, Local Communities, and Transport, Saïd Sayoud, aimed at accelerating the implementation of these compensation measures. This coordinated effort highlights the swift and efficient action taken by Algerian authorities to provide timely relief and support to its citizens, reinforcing the state's dedication to its people in times of natural disaster.
