On Tuesday morning, Israeli forces began a ground incursion into southern Lebanon, supported by aerial strikes and heavy artillery bombardments targeting border towns and villages, including “Al-Khiam,” “Kfar Kila,” “Al-Wazzani,” and “Al-Adaysseh.”
According to multiple Lebanese sources, Israeli warplanes and drones intensively flew over large areas of southern Lebanon as the ground invasion commenced.
The Israeli entity, as reported by these sources, has deployed five brigades along the Lebanese border. Lebanon is facing widespread Israeli aggression, with numerous border towns and villages, as well as vital infrastructure, being targeted. This has resulted in the deaths and injuries of thousands of Lebanese civilians, and the displacement of over one million residents from the affected areas.
Israel has also intensified its air and artillery assaults on various provinces and regions in Lebanon, coinciding with its ongoing aggression against Gaza, which began on October 7.
