US Ambassador to Algeria Elizabeth Moore Aubin expressed gratitude for Algeria’s support for neighboring countries, especially during disasters. She made the remarks after being received by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Aubin also confirmed that the United States is ready to work with Algeria during its membership in the UN Security Council and the UN Human Rights Council.
“I told President Tebboune that launching a direct flight between Algeria and New York would strengthen our economic, cultural, and tourism ties,” Aubin added.
